Congratulations to Katrina, Will and Hugh.  Their names were drawn out of the valu-ables box on Monday at assembly.  They each received a special prize to take home.

Volcano Making - by Madi

Madi made a volcano at home and brought it along to share with the class.   You have been busy. It's great to see children bringing things made from home. Clever Girl!

Outram Sprint - Basic Facts 27th June

A  super effort by Evie this week who scored 60/60 and within the time.  Evie received a special star sticker and next week she will be practising not only addition and subtraction but also times tables.

Congratulations to Zach, Madi and Elizabeth this week also because they improved their score too.  WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!

Knowing what to do - keeping ourselves safe

Today Lilly brought along a newsletter clipping about a 6 year old girl who saved her father's life by ringing 111. This related well to our Knowing what to do topic - Keeping Ourselves safe. Constable Greer who is a policeman talked to us about what being safe means.
For homework tonight we have to fill in the house with our name, address and phone number. We must remember these things to keep ourselves safe. Here Lilly holds the newspaper article and the homework 'house'. Please return to school tomorrow.
