Fast Facts - 8th August

Congratulations to the following children who broke their record in Basic Facts this last week.
Angel Will Jessica Jacob Kayleigh

Terrific Temperature!

In maths we are learning about temperature.
Today we made our very own temperature gauges and adjusted them throughout the day when we got hot or cold.
We also melted ice cubes in the classroom and found out where the hot spots and cold spots in the classroom were. Angel's ice cube melted first as she had hers beside the heater. Zachary's ice cube was the last to melt as he put his under Mrs Bellamy's table where it was cool.

Our Challenge Books

Today we were given our challenge booklets. We all have a goal to achieve just like the athletes at the Beijing Olympics. Everyday we will practise hard and show perseverance and dedication.
Here are some of our goals.

Room 7 are so proud of themselves winning the Term 2 Bus Challenge. We had to make sure every day that the bus monitors knew who was on the bus and who wasn't. On winning this award we get to go on a special trip. But where? If you have any ideas please write a comment.
