Welcome back to Term 3

Jessica has written a story at home and would like to share it with you.

In the holidays Nana looked out of the window and saw a Tui in the bluegum tree, another Tui came down to join it. Thomas and I came through to watch them. The Tui is bigger than a Bellbird. It is black with shiny green feathers. Under its beak looked like a little ball of wool.

You are so lucky to see two tui's Jessica. You don't see many in the south island.
I enjoyed reading your story and especially liked your describing words. Well Done! You are a star!
