What a fantastic day we had gold mining down at the Outram Glen. Many little gold miners dressed up as gold miners and set off with their swags filled with a cup, baked potato and their damper. They wanted to make their fortune down at the Glen where gold had been discovered. We panned for gold, cooked damper over the campfires, ate our baked potato, sipped away at hot soup and sang songs around the campfires. The little gold miners had a great time even though some never made their fortune!! Thankyou to all the parent helpers who made this day a great success!
